Might And Power Form Guide
The Might And Power form guide can be hard to put together as this race is a launching pad for runners targeting events later in the spring.
The Might And Power is a major lead-up race for the Cox Plate, Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup. The distance of 2000m is ideal for those targeting 2040m at Moonee Valley a fortnight later and those wanting to run 2400m in the Caulfield Cup.
International runners now like to use this as a tune up event, just as Benbatl did when winning in 2018. This means the race could potentially come a best weighted/classed horse, so check the form of the overseas runners before making investments.
