Coolmore and Chris Waller combined with Shinzo, who won the 2023 Golden Slipper and the same connections team up with Wodeton (barrier 2), who impressed with a stylish debut win at Rosehill.

Following defeats in the Silver Slipper and Todman Stakes, the son Wooton Bassett has drifted in the 2025 Golden Slipper market, although he still placed in both of those lead-up events.

Tempted (barrier 1) bounced back from an unlucky Blue Diamond Stakes attempt, with the Godolphin filly taking out the Reisling Stakes on March 8.

She was a debut winner in December before narrowly missing in the Group 3 Widden Stakes on February 1.

Skyhook (barrier 8) is aiming to be the fifth horse to complete a Pago Pago Stakes/Golden Slipper double and Shinzo (2023) was the last juvenile to achieve that feat.

The Ryan & Alexiou also prepare the unbeaten King Of Pop (barrier 18) who a debut winner at Warwick Farm before saluting in the Black Opal Stakes at Canberra.

Catbird is the only horse that has completed a Black Opal Stakes/Golden Slipper double, however, Silver Shadow, Spirit Of Kingston, Maizcay, Unspoken Word, Epaulette, Criterion, Takedown and Trapeze Artist are some of the notable past winners of that Canberra juvenile feature.

Devil Night (barrier 11) improved off a runner-up finish on debut to win the Blue Diamond Stakes at start two and that form has stood up, with Tentyris and Tempted both subsequent Sydney winners.

The first two home in the 2024 Golden Slipper (Lady Of Camelot and Coleman) had both contested the Blue Diamond Stakes.

West Of Swindon (barrier 4) is another leading Golden Slipper contender from the Hawkes stable, while they also have Nepotism (barrier 10) who is the second emergency.

With three wins and a second from four appearances, Within The Law (barrier 13) has been one of most consistent two-year-old's this season and she ticked the 1200m box last start when successful in the Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes.

Rivellino (barrier 3) is an undefeated youngster who completed a hat-trick in the Skyline Stakes and Skyhook (Pago Pago winner) was runner-up in that March 1 event.

At start two, the Kris Lees-trained colt defeated three subsequent winners when taking out the Inglis Millenium.

Gai Waterhouse is aiming for a ninth Golden Slipper victory and in partnership with Adrian Bott, she's trained two of the last five winners of this race.

North England (barrier 9), Farcited (barrier 17) and Bellazaine (barrier 15) will represent the Waterhouse & Bott stable in the 2025 Golden Slipper.

Following an impressive return win via the Ottawa Stakes up the Flemington straight, Military Tycoon (barrier 12) has come into Golden Slipper calculations.

The Ciaron Maher-trained filly put two lengths on Gin Spirit in that March 8 triumph and the runner-up arrived to that March 8 race off a Listed victory.
