Handler Tony Georgieff boasts a 23% strike-rate (15/66) since saddling his first winner back in April 2020.
The trainer’s representative here has contributed three of those wins with the gelding the winner of half of his six starts to date.
The most recent of those victories came when winning by just under half-a-length in a Class 2 handicap held over 1100m at Ipswich in early December.
The selection went on to finish one-and-a-half-lengths second in a 1200m Class 3 set weights event at Eagle Farm seventeen days later.
The gelding met trouble in running having been interfered with on straightening prior to being hampered near the 300m mark that day.
Both of those efforts came on a good 4 track with the softer going expected here no issue with the selection having won soft and heavy going last season.
The shorter distance here is no issue and having performed well when runner-up in a barrier trial recently he looks up to returning with a win.

The daughter of Hellbent has impressed in two starts for the Kelly Schweida team winning twice over this course and distance.
The first of those victories saw the filly come home a length clear of her five rivals when contesting a set weights maiden held on a soft 5 track.
The pick raced close to the speed on that occasion but was ridden with slightly more restraint when following up in a handicap here two weeks ago.
Cejay Graham, on board for both of those victories is again set to ride here and her mount returns to a wet track having won on a good 4 surface last time.
The filly picked up nicely when scoring in comfortable fashion last time out and a wide barrier shouldn’t pose too many issues in this event.

XXXX Benchmark 78 Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Doomben Value Bet - Race 6 No. 15 Shot Of Whiskey
The New Zealand-bred showed good form last prep winning three times including in a similar race to this over 1200m at Eagle Farm in September.
The selection raced on a good 4 surface on that occasion and she returned to action with a solid fourth over 1100m at Ipswich earlier this month.
The gelding met trouble in running when racing on a soft 6 track and he is expected to have improved for that return to action.
Matthew Hoysted’s representative had finished in the first two in all four starts on wet surfaces prior to that and he has been allocated a good barrier for this contest.
The return to 1200m is no issue here with Boris Thornton, on board when the gelding won at Sunshine Coast in July last year a positive jockey booking.
That Sunshine Coast effort came when racing second up and he looks value to register the fifth win of his career.

The five-year-old ended his last prep with a good third when beaten just over half-a-length in a 1350m handicap held on a good 4 track at this circuit.
The gelding demonstrated good form in winning two barrier trials over 1000m before resuming with a fourth in the Listed Sunshine Coast Cup over 1400m last month.
The pick raced close to the speed on that occasion with two of the first three home coming from off the pace.
The son of Vadamos took a step forward when finishing runner-up switched to a soft 6 track for a 1400m handicap at Eagle Farm a week ago.
The selection tried to make all the running on that occasion and he is expected to race close to or on the speed jumping from barrier three.
Angela Jones’ mount shaped as if he was building towards a win that day and stepping up in distance he is taken to record his first win since crossing the Tasman Sea.
