The John O’Shea & Tom Charlton-trained galloper has had the two career starts for a couple of minor placings and resumed with a 3rd behind Endure at Randwick on Boxing Day over the 1400m.
He was last of the eight runners as they cornered before producing the fastest last 400m and 200m to land just under a length away.
The son of Blue Point should have scope for improvement at his second run this time in and draws to save ground from the inside barrier.

Warwick Farm Value Bet - Race 4 No.3 Don’t Doubt Merlin
Don’t Doubt Merlin can rejoin the winners list in Race 4.
The four-year-old has won three of six and is likely to enjoy what will be a wet track at Warwick Farm on Wednesday with plenty of rain around in the 24 hours up to and including on race-day.
He is three from four on the Soft and comes off a last start 5th at Randwick in a BenchMark 78 over the 1000m.
He was held up early in the straight in that race before closing off with the second fastest last 200m. I suspect the 1200m shouldn't be an issue, while the son of Press Statement drops slightly in grade.

This looks to be a winnable race for Ravello.
Another from the O’Shea\/Chorlton stable, the four-year-old was solid when 7th in the Little Dance (1600m) back in November before running a luckless 8th in a BenchMark 78 last time.
He performs well on the Soft and drops slightly in grade, while he was 3rd in a strong form race at this stage of his last preparation over the 1800m at Randwick.

Keen on Storm The Ramparts in Race 6. The Jo Pride-trained galloper resumed at Randwick on Boxing Day over the 1000m in a BenchMark 78 and was forced to work early when posted wide no cover.
He went for home a long way out and produced the fastest 400m-200m split before the early work told at the business end with him facing into 4th, beaten just over a length.
The four-year-old will strip fitter for this and drops slightly in grade, while he draws to save plenty of ground this time around.
