Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Tallon Griekspoor Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Tsitsipas to reach Dubai final

It's been a turbulent last 12 months or so for Tsitsipas, but this has been a confidence-boosting week in Dubai and I'm backing the Greek to continue his momentum into the final. Tsitsipas has defeated some great players over the last few days, including Matteo Berrettini and Karen Khachanov, while he toppled Griekspoor in the Dutchman's home tournament of Rotterdam earlier this month. Griekspoor has been riding his luck in Dubai this week, saving match points in two of his three matches - it's tough to see him recording a third top 20 victory of the tournament when he only managed three top 20 wins throughout the entirety of 2024.

Tsitsipas leads 2-0, winning their 2023 Australian Open encounter in straight sets before a thrilling 6-7 7-6 7-5 triumph in Rotterdam earlier this month, saving a match point in the second set tiebreak.

Tsitsipas arrived in Dubai with a poor 3-4 record on the season, but he's turned things around this week and is now targeting a first ATP title above 250 level on hardcourt since 2019.

The Greek was all over the place in Australia as he lost to Alexander Shevchenko in the United Cup before crashing out in the first round at Melbourne Park to Alex Michelsen.

Things went from bad to worse as Tsitsipas was bundled out of Rotterdam by qualifier Mattia Bellucci before losing to an injured Hamad Medjedovic in Doha last week.

However, Tsitsipas has bounced back with a strong week in Dubai, defeating the likes of Lorenzo Sonego, Karen Khachanov and Matteo Berrettini. The World No. 11 will now look to reach his third final in Dubai after falling to Roger Federer in 2019 and Novak Djokovic in 2022.

This is quickly turning into one of the more memorable weeks of Griekspoor's career and the Dutchman will be hoping his good form and fortune continue here.

Griekspoor saved three match points in his Dubai opening round win over Roman Safiullin before knocking out defending champion Ugo Humbert in three sets.

The 28-year-old then staged another miraculous recovery in the quarter-finals against Daniil Medvedev, saving multiple match points once again and coming back from 1-4 down in the second set tiebreak to emerge triumphant by a 2-6 7-6 7-5 score.

After beating top 20 players just three times in 2024, Griekspoor will now be aiming to equal that tally in the space of three matches this week in Dubai.
