Australian Open 2025 Outright Winner Tips - Who Will win the Australian Open?
Alexander Zverev is our best value pick to win the men's Australian Open title in 2025. The German has been gradually inching closer to Grand Slam glory over the last couple of years and this represents an excellent chance for him to secure his maiden major trophy.
18+ only. T&Cs apply
Jannik Sinner has the threat of suspension lingering over his head, Novak Djokovic isn't the player he once was and Carlos Alcaraz hasn't quite mastered Melbourne yet in his short career. Zverev was two points away and two-sets-to-love up against Daniil Medvedev in last year's Australian Open semi-finals, while he was also leading Alcaraz two-sets-to-one in the 2024 Roland Garros final. The 27-year-old keeps putting himself in winning positions - it's only a matter of time before he finally takes his chance.
On the women's side, we're backing Coco Gauff to capture her maiden Australian Open title and second Grand Slam trophy.
18+. T&Cs apply
Admittedly, it's tough to go against two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka, but Gauff defeated the World No. 1 on her way to the WTA Finals title to finish 2024, while the American also toppled Iga Swiatek to launch 2025 at the United Cup. Gauff has won 16 of her last 18 matches, her confidence is back and the conditions in Melbourne suit her - think she's the value selection here.

Australian Open Overview
The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the year and takes place each January at Melbourne Park.
First established back in 1905 as the Australasian Championships, the Australian Open has transformed into one of the biggest tennis tournaments of the year, with the world's best players converging on Melbourne in a bid to capture a prestigious Grand Slam title.

A total of 128 players compete in the main draw of the men's and women's singles, while doubles, mixed doubles, juniors and wheelchair tournaments also feature over the course of the fortnight.
Novak Djokovic has won a record 10 Australian Open singles titles, including claiming three straight on two occasions between 2011-13 and 2019-21.
On the women's side, Serena Williams has won the most singles titles in the Open Era with seven.
Jannik Sinner is the defending champion in the men's singles after coming back from two sets down to defeat Daniil Medvedev 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 in the 2024 final, while Aryna Sabalenka won her second straight Australian Open title in 2024, crushing first-time finalist Qinwen Zheng 6-3 6-2.
